God wants to use you to change the world. You may ask, "Who Me?" Despite feeling God is making a grave error, God will answer you back,
"Yes, you."
God does not make any mistakes. You are called and chosen by God to carry out his work. No worries, God has your resume. He knows your shattered past and he does not care. In fact, it is your failures that qualify you for this job. There is one thing to get straight, though God may have called you, He does not need you. His will does not solely depend on your choice to fulfill it. We serve a generational God. If you fail to answer, he will chose someone else. He called you because he loves you and wishes to use you.
Place fear under your feet and start walking, even if you can't see the next step before you. The great part is you don't have too know the end result. God set your end at your beginning. Just follow his steps (Psalm 37:23). It's ok to be scarred, just don't take on that spirit. Fear is not given by God (II Timothy 1:7).
Not everyone is going to agree with what God has called you to do. You may be surprised that you receive the least support from people you care most about. You cannot set your sight on men and their faces but you must live for the approval of God (Jeremiah 1:8).
At the end of the day, its God in us that provides the gift and the dream. Alone, we are nothing but with God, all things are possible (Mark 9:23).Lift your head up and shake it off. Don't allow anyone to stand in the way of the call God has on your life. If you stick with God, he will make you shine in the midst of your opposition. Psalm 37:4-6 reads, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass. And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light, and your justice and right as [the shining sun of] the noonday. "
Start with what you have. Your barriers are just waiting for you to break them. Look beyond your limitations. Do the best with what you have and watch God take care of the rest. Once God starts something in your life He is able to complete it in you (Philippians 1:6). If anyone asks you, "Who do you think you are to _______ (Fill in the blank)," you can answer them with every word you can think of or you can allow God's movement and your actions speak for itself. In the process of working through you, God will prepare a table for you in front your enemies (Psalm 23:5). Yes, you! Don't be afraid. Let's take the first step together.
