I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” - Ezekiel 37: 2-3
It is never to late. As long as there is breath in your body there is hope. You may be in a situation where you do not see light at the end of the tunnel. The challenges you are facing may seem insurmountable and dead just like the heaps of dry bones mentioned in the scripture above. What exactly is a dry bone? A dry bone is the good things in your life that have gone sour, dormant, or dead. It could be great relationships with family or friends, dreams, professional aspirations, or even your relationship with Jesus Christ. Each day can mark the beginning of a new season in your life. With God, the dry bones in your life can rise and thrive again. Your dry bones do not have to stay dead. First, you must be honest with yourself and identify your dry bones. It is your faith in God and His word that will resurrect the dead areas of your life.
Your faith is the shovel, and there is a God that can light your way. The amazing part is, you are not required to know how; you just have to believe that a comeback is possible. When you put your hope in God, He can carry you the rest of the way. In one of his sermons, Pastor Sergio De La Mora stated, "When you constantly speak about what you do not have you block what you can have from coming into your life."Speak positively over your life and situations.
True faith is anchored on the hope of possibility. It is being sure about what is possible despite your current surrounding. In Hebrews 11:1 it states, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen." We all need a reason to believe - it is our faith that grants us that reason. The key to overcoming, restoration, and redemption will rest in your diligence and consistency. Change your language to match a new found belief that through Christ, all things are possible (Philippians 4:13).
Create a vision for your life and speak as if manifested already, build your expectation. Philippians 1:20 states, " as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death." Your life is in your hands. There is hope for a new beginning. God is waiting on you to believe that just maybe, this time your dry bones will live again.
